About the instructors

Greetings!

Whether you're attending for the first time, or taking a refresher course, Getting on Track for individuals with Type 1 diabetes will help you address "diabetes burnout" and get on track with your diabetes management. Don't wait... this workshop is filling up fast.

Sincerely,

The Behavioral Diabetes Institute

If you know what to do, but are having a hard time doing it, Getting on Track is for you
Serving as the Behavioral Diabetes Institute's core program, this all-day workshop is designed for individuals with diabetes who wish to explore issues involving "diabetes burnout". Participants will learn about the emotional pitfalls associated with diabetes, determine their own pattern of diabetes stresses, and develop personalized strategies for mastering the challenges of diabetes in a compassionate and motivating environment. Getting on Track is limited to adults who are struggling with their diabetes management and have poor blood sugar control (for example, an A1C greater than 8.0%, problems with hypoglycemia, or very erratic blood sugars).

Be sure to visit our website to learn about the upcoming Getting on Track workshop designed for individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Registration is now open!
