a Program Manager who’s primary responsibility will include oversight of the
association’s 12 programs and services, as well as supervising program support
staff. We are looking for a person with at least 5 years of related professional
experience and degrees in social work, gerontology or nursing. The position

IMMEDIATE FULL TIME OPENING FOR: DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS
Director of Programs located in the California Health Advocates’ (CHA) main
administrative office in Sacramento. CHA is a non-profit organization dedicated
to achieving and sustaining timely, accurate and responsive education and
advocacy efforts for California Medicare beneficiaries and the pre-retirement
population.
CHA seeks a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for overseeing
all aspects of the organization’s general operations, including serving as a
primary liaison with the federal and state governments, serving the interests of
the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) network.
Applicants must possess at a minimum a Bachelor of Arts/Science’s degree in
public administration, business administration, health policy, or comparable
education in a closely allied field, and at least five years of progressively
responsible non-profit administrative/management experience.
40 hours/week, Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 –
Commensurate with education and experience, Health/Dental insurance/
Holiday/ Vacation and SIMPLE IRA
